Figure 8 fan steps?

hello everyone. i was wondering if any of you know the steps to making a figure 8 with a fan-hand fan like the ones used in the chinese fan dances? thanks.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i am chinese and i have chinese fans for dancing too all you do is get one of the chinese fans that are big and like move your hand only in alike circles outward and fast
i hope that is what you were talking about lol
