ok this question is a little weird and gross but ive always wondered where your piss and crap go after you use the toilet? does it all go to one place or doesi it like get recycled? i was gonna call PG&E and ask em ahaha but i thought id try my luck here first

If your toilet is connected to the municipal sewer it get's treated with chemicals then it get's dumped into the ocean or rivers. If your toilet is connected to a spetic system the liquid waste is leached into the ground and any ground water table. The solid waste collects in the bottom of the septic tank and eventually has to be pumped out and taken to a waste processing plant where it is treated with chemicals and dumped into the ocean or rivers.

it goes down to the local sewer plant and then gets sprayed with chemicals and sent back into the river supposedly clean

It gets recycled and then you drink it out of your faucet.
At least thats what they told us when I was in school
