Its your own belief becos no one has seen him but you know that there is a higher being out there. Its your own religion, your commitment to that religion, the facts, the books and maybe even the occasion one to one "communication" with God.. its very subjective. It may or may not make a difference-your life has been mapped out the way it should be, this is "fate" . Can fate be change or does God change yr life path as and when he likes?? Can we see the answer anywhere? I belief in doing good deeds, helping others, love my family and friends, but I don't go to church. I thanked God for whatever I have and say prayers as and when I can. I have seen previously ppl that attend church gets into fights over parking space. What I felt was, hey we all here to rejoice and to thank god for all that was given to us but for ppl to fight over a small issue, there and then I decided not to be a hypocrite, stop attending church and pray on my own... that's my honest opinion.. hope it helps

In reverse order, yes it does make a difference one way or another, because it fundamentally changes the nature of the universe.
It would be likely to change the answers to questions concerning ethical values, the meaning of life, life after death, the place of religion...
Given that there are sincere people on both sides of the question "Is there a God?" and division amongst the theists as to the nature of god, that question must remain open, except as a matter of personal conviction.
The answers to the key questions will then flow from the belief.
But that doesn't mean everyone is equally right.
I can't conceive of a universe where a theist and an atheist are equally correct.
(because having the belief does not "make it so", even though the belief is used as a basis for decision-making!)

In a nutshell (the short version), there is one God and He talks to your heart if you listen. The difference of having and not having God would lie in this. If creation were godless, then no matter what your earthly attainments were (money, power, wealth, knowledge, etc.), you would still be in a “living” hell because it would be all vanity, and every venture would be a waste of time because their would be no internal everlasting benefit. Your house would be built out of “why bother” bricks. If this were the way all mankind felt about each other, then for sure the extinction process would soon be at hand.

Yes there is a God. It does make a difference that there is a God because just think if this was all there is how sad to be here for such a short time and then existence ends

No. There is no god. Atleast that's what I think. This population has been influenced by itself to believe that there is a god, but tell, how can you be so sure about something so abstract and unclear ?
Also, other religions, such as muslims, buddhists and so on, believe that they're right. Christians believe that they're right and all other religions believe in a sort of, figment of their imagination. Now, if you have comprehended what I'm trying to say, you'll realise that there is something fishy about god. He is too far fetched and does not exist.

As for as the others are concerned , it does not make a difference to you, whether( they say or believe) there is God. If by believing in God , you..... the big YOU . feel a sense of happiness and peace then God exists.
All you or I have to wonder what illuminates us , deep internally , to recognise things including God. You can give any name to that being, that inner awareness , also called as Consciousness. That exists .

Well It depends on your religion. For Christians, we have one god. But for Indians or different cultures, they have many gods they believe in. Like for example, Back in when it was Ancient egypt, there were many gods. Zeus, The godess of Love. And all those gods the people believed in and worshiped. But for cathlicis, {we believe in one god. God of the almighty. Heaven and maker of the Earth}-part of a prayer.

Yes there is a God. Look around you and see the trees ,flowers and the rain that comes down out of the sky to water all of them. The oxygen that you breathe comes from God. If we didn't have him we couldn't live.

I know their is a God. Yes it does make a difference because without God there wouldn't be a "you" or a "me". That's just what I believe no matter what anyone else says.

some men have had a deep conviction of their destiny..and in that conviction have prospered, but when they cease to act as a instrument and think of themselves as the active source of what they do.. their pride is punished by disaster, the conquest of destiny leaves us with a mystery but it is a mystery not contrary to Eden.. for it implies that the world and the course of human history have meaning..only in humility, charity and purity can we be prepared to receive the grace of god without this human operation ordained.
