Because you can't terrorize America if the Boogeyman is dead. The fear card has been Bush's best play since 9-11. Without it, much of his rollbacks on civil liberties, detainments, and war-mongering would have been met with too much opposition.
Odds are good that Osama is tilling out a quiet life in Crawford, Texas, helping Laura plant flowers and keeping the barbecue pit cleaned out.

Your theory is a little absent of factual knowledge In case you aren't sufficiently up to date on events around the world..you would be aware of this action going on since the late 70's. It has only intensified in the past 10-15 years. It will get worse.. it does not involve just the US but anyone living in western society. The threat involves domination of the world, with one religion. That religion being the governing body of the world government. The capital for that site has already been declared, by the president of Iran.. to be Babylon.
Bush has knowledge that the public is unaware of.. and is much more dire than you can believe.. What is going on in Canada at the present is rather astounding.. but is preparatory for what is to come. Bush is not causing more terrorists.. they have been taught to become martyrs since early years.. the madrases take care of that. They invite death.. but by that same token, they become vehemently anti west... not just the US.

His presidency hinges on security and fighting terrorism. He knows he cannot catch bin Laden to bring him to justice, therefore by making that a low priority, the failure to catch him is not a failure at all in his eyes.
I'm not sure what you're referring to 'what Bush caused to happen'.... But, he probably said Bin Laden is not a priority because he knows that he cannot caputre him. If there was ever a chance to, it was missed by not sending enough of the 'military resources' to which he refers to Afghanistan in the first place. That's why he got away, because they were saving the 'resources' for Iraq right off the bat.

It's to bad they didn't include the whole conversation which doesn't surprise me for that propaganda site. You would have had to listen to the whole thing and you didn't obviously. Bush didn't do anything like you are suggesting you are just a Bush bashing extremist and yet you don't question what happened in the Clinton adm. at all. You don't question why there isn't anyone on this planet, even with the huge rewards, that have come anywhere close to catching him you just point fingers. Why aren't you out there looking for him, the money is good.

Bin Laden is nothing more than a figurehead. Spending time getting one man is a waste of resources. There is no issue here.
