book diary, I think it gives more of your touch, a sense of who you are, just by the way you write. I also think it's more fun to look back on. Actually, maybe I should take that book, because I sort of have an online diary and only sort of write down what happens to me in a book that has every day of the year in it.

I think you can write more of your thoughts in an online diary and feel less tired, and also get your thoughts out quicker. A book diary you can maybe draw things in it, but mostly, I wasn't drawing that much anyway.

Hope you make the right decision. An online diary that is easy to navigate around would be good--I use livejournal. I like how it's just very clean looking.

Plus, I'm thinking I should say a diary is about your thoughts and should be less about how it looks, for online versus book argument.

I just thought of something else which is, it may be easier to navigate your book diary, because it might be easier to flip pages than to click on the date you wrote some certain entry.

Why not have both, one for when you feel like book, one for when you feel like online?

Happy journal decision!

Online diary. Easier to protect, especially from snooping nephews and brothers. I realize there is hacking, but who is going to go to the trouble of hacking into someone's online diary? It's more likely they would try to open a book diary instead.

Both are fine, but I love my book diary because it is more personal and an intimate reflection of me, besides I can carry my book diary anywhere.

I didn't like the books either (for some reason they seemed really badly written). Anyway, I watched season 1 first before I read the first book so maybe that's the reason I wasn't pleased. But I tried the second book, but was just too annoyed by the characters too. Then again, the books were written AGES ago, so everything is different now, the TV shows are modern for this era. I ditched the books, I only watch the TV show now
