You would take a different path WITHOUT EVEN WANTING TO. Because no one can recall every single second of every single day, and you would NEED TO in order to continue on the same path. Changing only one instance in your past, such as waiting 2 seconds to enter the elevator as opposed to entering it 3 seconds after it opens is more than enough to affect every decision that unfolds from that point, as well as affecting everyone else around you. Youd totally set off a change for everyone, including yourself from only having altered a single second of your own life. cArl Sagan even posed that setting back the clock for all of humanity would cause a different version of "man" to be evolved, maybe even looking nothing like humans in the least bit. Maybe lizard-men would evolve instead. Maybe no one at all would evolve. When you wind the clock back, nothing comes back the same no matter what your intent. THe very act of going back is an alteration of the past in itself because youd never gone back before. Ever heard of a paradox? You could even create a SPLIT and while THIS earth would continue unaltered, a NEW earth inside of a new universe would be formed with you on it and the included alterations made by your arrival.

This is a great question for me. I ask myself this question all the time, because ten years ago I was granduating from college with a double major that I finished in three years. I was on the top of my game with a promising career laid out before me. I had a one night stand and got pregnant. It changed my life forever. I have a really cool ten year old kid now. But I often wonder where I would be if that had not happened. Having him pushed me to do a lot of things that I would not have done if I had not had him. It totally changed my career plans. I ended up going back to school right away to get a master's degree. I ended up doing lots of jobs that I would not ever thought of trying if I had not had him to provide for....all of those things made me who I am today And really I cannot imagine life without him. There are a few things I would change about how responded to situations, but ultimately the whole experience made me who I am and I like who I am....I think it would be fun to go back and do it all again with the knowledge I have now. When I look back on that time I was such a differrent person that it feels like I am seeing someone else's life.

Ten years ago, I would have been five... Even as a five year old, I would have changed something (which is kind of funny!). I would have probably been more of a "bad kid.". If I would have gained a bad reputation with my family as a five year old, I could do the things now that I've always wanted to do without being the least bit shocking. But since I've always been shy, sweet, and law abiding, I'm expected to continue being this way.

I would change the outcome. I would really listen to the advice given and seriously consider it before just "jumping" into what I want without considering what is best.
