why do sum ppl jus hate boybands???

as some of the other people have mentioned theyre manufactured, and they cant always sing, theres a hell of a lot of autotune being used along with other vocal processing. My main gripe is that there's no soul in what they put out, its all about the cash, dont get me wrong I'm a composer with a day job I wana make money from my music, but like or loathe my stuff theres a part of me in every piece I write be it soundtrack, breaks, electronica, whatever. Thats whats missing, the production is just too clean and there are many, many talented struggling musicians who are struggling to get an audience, air play and a deal because of the current situation in music industry where record companies are looking for instant return instead of nurturing talent over time like they used to.

So called , Boy Bands these day are terrible and I might add, so are most girl bands, it was much better when 'bands' formed themselves ! Status Quo , The Who, The Beach Boys, The Supremes, Abba, Genesis, Boney M, to name but a few, all with decent voices and all recorded good songs and when they sang ,you could understand every word they were singing, not like most of the rubbish that comes out on CD, these days.

They are not formed in the same way as proper bands, as they are mostly selected by record companies based on their looks.
They do not sing the songs of their choice. They are a product of the amrket department of big music companies and are aimed at the easily influenced teen and pre-teen markets.
They are not original and rarely write their own songs.
There is nothing giood about boybands.

Some dont like the fact that some boybands dont write their own songs
Some think they sound girly
Some think they sound too soppy, mushy and romantic
Some are jealous of their talent

Yaaaaa 4 da 1OOth tiem. Nowww ask sumthnnn new, all of us kno deyr annoynggg!!a million! BLAH. Hate speaking like that. that's sorta humorous with the aid of fact i'm a Brazilian that texts/varieties to her friends as though i became into writing an essay... XD (and that i write incredibly formally and grammatically maximum appropriate) i like to maximum appropriate my friends' grammatical and spelling errors yet only with the aid of fact they get aggravated by it. ;D

I persoana;;y don't like boy or girl bands, mostly because jumping about like pans people on stage miming songs anyone can do. All other artists and bands have talent, from maylene klass (plays violin) elton john(plays piano) and slash (rides that guitar within an inch of its life!!!) they do all this on stage whilst actually singing.
But that's just my thought

Mainly because they are Manufactured, and usually have 1 or 2 talenred people and the rest are just eye candy. It treats us like idiots to think that they are "real".

A lot of older people think they are pre-packaged, souless bubblegum sound.

I myself aren't a big fan of boy bands but I like some individual songs here & there.
