no there is no limit. there is a benchmark where a player can play a certain amount before redshirting, for example michael bush may redshirt this yearso he can play next year, even though he is a senior. there is no limit to how many games you can play. players may apply for extra eligibility if they can show a need, jason white played a second senior year because of a medical hardship exception

I don't believe that it's a number of games. It only restricts a player to 4 years of playing.
