I still play video games. I'm only 22, so I guess that's probably not what you're really thinking of when you say 'grown ups'. However, I have come in contact with people on Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPG) like Final Fantasy XI and World of Warcraft that were 60 years old and older. Also, I think you need to realize that there are healthy and unhealthy addictions. You can be addicted to video games and collecting stuffed animals without negatively impacting your life. It's the people who drop out of school or quit their jobs or ignore friends and family to play games who are "crazy." Similarly, the people who went around paying top dollar for rare beanie babies during the craze in the 90s were pretty dang nuts. Nothing wrong with healthy addiction no matter what the age. :) Video games and stuffed animals are just hobbies after all. Not really any different than someone who chooses to spend free time fishing or dancing or martial arts or watching reruns of soap operas or whatever else.
