Green with tan, cream, beige, dark golden, light or dark brown.
All earth tones go with green.
You said green and black remind you of a witch....hahaha well those two colors go better together than any other two colors. A black skirt or slacks with a green shirt or sweater are really classy. I have a dark green silk blouse that I wear with a black skirt and gold chain belt that looks beautiful together. A pair of black stockings and black heels makes the outfit.
You could wear a pair of black pants or a black skirt with the green shirt and add a black or black and green print scarf, that would really be a nice look.
Good luck experimenting and God be with you.

what kind of green? if it's more of a sage green, then lavender and other purples would look great. Red is the complimentary color of green, but would look too christmasy. Go with a purple.

Beige can work nicely, as do certain shades of gray. Red can provide you with a festive holiday look, and sometimes purple can even work.
