Evangelical Church regarding Ted Haggard. After all the Republicans greatly benefited in 2000 and 2004 with the Evangelical support for them, financially as well as vote getting.

That's because the Repuglicans cut and run when their friends become entangled in a mess that could bring them down, an example being mark Foley and how all of the Repuglicans showed support before his scandal and now they wont even mention his name.

I am a Republican and conservative and I think Ted Haggards behavior is the worst kind. I didn't know who he was until this came about and it makes me sick. I don't care which party is involved cause I know both parties have this sort of thing in their closets. I don't know why you don't make it out for what it is leaving the politics out of it. You don't think there is any demo's that felt betrayed by this or any Independants or those of no party. It's always a gleeful time for nonbelievers when this happens but to Christians it's devasting.

I would be greatly disappointed with any attempt by either party to support this dirt bag.
There are times when one simply does not deserve any support.

It will never stop to amaze me when criminals keep getting re-elected. Now that's an example of support that really sends our children a great message, eh?

As a Republican, I will not support a man like that. He, as well as Foley, broke the law, were deceptive, and did some sick things. Now, a Republican has not blindly backed his politicians, and instead has condemned them. Can a Democrat do the same when his politicians and leaders screw up?

At least the Republicans don't just keep them in office like the democriminals do.

I don't hear the House Ethics Committee launching the Foley investigation which they promised either. You can't believe a word those wackos say. It's a shame.

What kind of support do you expect? He did something wrong. He will pay the price. Nothing any one can or should try to do about it.
