Depends on the individual. Differential equations is a very difficult course. I have Calc 1 and calc 3 to be somewhat simple but calc 2 was very difficult for me. Some people do better with more algebraic stuff while others just do better with geometry.

Well, i'm in differential equations. Before my (math) degree is done I have to take advanced calculus I and II. That's as far as I'm going.
