i have a two bedroom upstairs and downstairs apartment i was using an electircal space heater to heat it and after just 8 days my electirc bill was 50 dollars. is getting gas turned on going to be cheaper. if anyone knows of any sites that could help with this than let me know

It is cheaper to heat with gas than electric I have had both and found that the electric heaters both space and base board electric heat is more expensive.

Electric is more expensive but cleaner. It also is less effective for heating in cold climates. Natural gas is a better heat for cold climates, but, it's not as clean. Gas also has a quicker rebound when being used in the water heater.Former

Gas is much cheaper. The gas company might be able to help you with payment plans or low-income assistance for your gas bills, too.
