Beyond warm clothes, you'll want a battery charger, lock de-icer, and a telescoping ice scraper/snow brush for your vehicle. I don't know if tire chains are legal there, but they're worth looking into, especially if you're not used to driving in ice and snow. Home Depot or Lowes will have rolls of plastic for your home's windows (to help insulate), as well as heating tape to keep your pipes from freezing. You should probably buy an electric space heater or two in case of a power outage, and a snow shovel, of course. Last of all, get yourself a good sled. Sledding is fun, especially with a burn barrel and peppermint scnapps hot chocolate waiting at the top of the hill.

All you need is a good attitude. I have lived here all my life, and I am still not used to the winters. They are cold, but they can be so much fun. Enjoy them, and make to most out of them.

you need to get yourself a pair on long underwear, a nice pair of mittens or gloves, an ice scraper/snow brush for your car, good pair of winter boots, i always carry a big bag of sand or cat litter in the trunk of the car in case i get stuck, maybe a blanket incase you get stuck really bad so you can keep yourself warm, get a warm stocking hat and scarf, it can get pretty chilly here sometimes, cold enuff where you shouldn't go out side with exposed skin. i always make sure in my house the windows are insulated with plastic and i got extra blankets handy for those really chilly nights.

Three layers of clothes, good boots, jumper cables, a flask of brandy, and a hearty attitude towards snow. It can be a bit long, but it's a great state all the same. I miss it.

Besides a down filled coat, a good hat, warm gloves, snow boots and warm socks. - an Acrylic neck scarf. If your head, feet and neck are warm you've got it made.
Don't fight the weather - enjoy the wonder of it!!

Just move back to where you came from. That should solve the problem.
