I would use it, get famous, the give J.F.K. the trail he deserves! Plus if the person is dead you could still get famous!

I'd look at a list of all the people around that event who died mysterious and painful deaths and I'd make my info disappear.

Nothing, you probably wouldn't live long enough to share the info, or else no one would believe you. Either way, nothing would happen to the one who really did it. (If he/she is still alive)
