I know that Miss Maudies house burns down in the winter, but if anyone can add a year or date to this event, it would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot

It happens in the second year of the novel, just before Christmas. Remember, the novel is fiction, so putting a historical date of a snowstorm isn't possible.
