And that Amricans think that people from other countries are dumb... So is it really true?

I don't know where you heard that but it's absolutely false. The funny thing is that America is comprised of people from different countries. So, if what you're saying is true, then I must be dumb but I'm allowed to stay and I don't get taxed more than any other dumb guy around. Afterall, the guy in Washington and supposedly the most powerful man in America couldn't be any wiser than me. Not only do we let dumb people stay, they get elected into office as well. Feel better now?

you got it backwards, people from other countries do not like americans. Some do, most don't. Also, All America is is a melting pot of people from other countries. Its what makes it great. There is certainly an aura of superiority here in the US. We have the strongest economy, military, and are the most technologically advanced and it has been that way for soooooo long, but i don't think the general consensus is that we think everyone else is "dumb". Americans are actually hated in many countries.

well,we are a mixed bunch.
and right now the immigration thing is ruffling a lot of feathers. one guy said lots about them and added"..those damned Native Americans came there and they.."
we have our share of idiots. who think other people are.
there are lots who think not speaking English means your dumb. cause they don't get the other language is a real and complex thing..

we have more than our share of bigots.

most of us i pray are not like that but ask any tourist place though out Europe our neuvo riche often act like louts while thinking they are also superior.

but listen they'll all smile long enough to take your money. so do visit.

just find the right ones no... that would be the left ones.
we like diversity and multiculturalism and new stuff.

i like people from other countries just because they always have good new foods and interesting new cultures and traditions but especially the good new foods..

I suppose some people from the U.S. are closed-minded and are biased based on what little facts they know through the media alone. But I myself, being an American, don't care where someone comes from. If someone is kind, intelligent, courteous, etc, I don't have a problem with that. Please don't generalize an entire country because of a few rotten eggs.

Sweetness, all the people in America came from people outside America and if we didn't like others, we'd be insulting our grandparents. I love people from other countries. I like listening to how they came here, why they came etc....The thought that Americans don't like foreigners is a myth and we don't think you're dumb. We think our president is. Blessings.

For me it is not true..I think people from other countries are very smart...some americans ..not so smart..(some in my family tree,lol) My Boyfriend and brother both attend universities where they live...
