I do it and all my friends do it. I wear flats because I'm too lazy to lace up tennis shoes, but it's 30 degrees outside in the mornings and I walk to school and work so I HAVE to wear socks. I wouldn't recommend it for a date, but if it's for an informal situation then go for it.

yea but u run the rtisk of looking liek a total dweeb i liek ballet flat better with no socks and if u must wear socks trrying finding a pair that dotn show

why would you want to pair hideous (or even cute) socks with a pair of gorgeous ballet flats?
no socks. or if you really want to put something on your feet, black tights, stockings or whatever you want to call it would still look nice and fashionable.
