I thought the Fast and Furious movies were popular!?? (I see enough of the silly little cars on the road.) Yet this question seems able to stump (including some so-called "sources"). I'm no expert so I simply loaded the DVD in the player and paid attention to what I saw and heard. To my eyes, it is a Dodge Charger (a classically recognizable car) - similar but NOT the same as a Coronet or Roadrunner. It is black, with chrome fascia. Then I listened to the "making of" extra on the DVD and in just seconds was informed by a person discussing making the movie that it was a Charger.
I stopped at the first movie, figuring sequels might not offer much more of any interest. Since "Tokyo Drift" seems to be confused here with the first one I'd say I was right and saved approximately 18 dollars in personal ticket costs and $1,372.98 in snack bar costs for snacks all around.

Hun, I must of missed that one. I thought he was only in the 1st fast and the furious. I just looked up the movie and Vin Diesel isn't even mentioned playing in the movie. But in the 1st fast and the furious he drove a dodge charger.
