Haynesworth Likely to Play for Titans
Lineman Was Suspended for Stomping on Cowboy
AP Sports
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 18) - Albert Haynesworth officially rejoined the Tennessee Titans ' active roster Saturday, and likely will play Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles .

The Titans waived rookie linebacker Terna Nande and moved Haynesworth to the roster before flying to Philadelphia.

Saturday marked the end of a one-week exemption that allowed Haynesworth to practice without being added to the 53-man roster, following his five-game suspension from the league for stomping on Dallas center Andre Gurode's head.

He rejoined the team at practice on Wednesday. Team officials made continuing anger management counseling a condition of his return.

Have we gone to far in football/all sports in putting so much emphasis on winning?

Do the pro's set an example to High School kids as to what is right and what is wrong?

Should Albert Haynesworth be allowed to play football...?

Well, he did serve the punishment he was given. Having said that, should the Titans play him? Considering that they're requiring him to continue anger management, I don't think giving him a second chance is such a horrible idea. However, if I was in Fisher's shoes and he drew so much as a flag, I'd have him out of there and he wouldn't play again.

The pros set an example not just to high school kids, but kids even younger than that as well as their parents, if parents' behavior at Little League and Pee Wee games is any indication. It's just a f'ing GAME, for crying out loud. Yet when you get to the pros, it's not just a game anymore. It's about the money at that level, and the lengths to which some players will go to get top dollar are appalling.

Fisher did give Haynesworth a five games suspension. If winning was everything to the titans, they would have waited to let the NFL punish Haynesworth, but they didn't. They took it into their own hands because they knew the severity and they punished him.

Only if Andre Gurode could get him one on one without anyone else stepping in to stop em from fighting. Then Haynesworth could come back...
