There's a rumour circulating around my part of town (the north west of England) that temperatures this winter might be as low as -14. Has anyone else heard anything along these lines?

well...don't worry...over is other countries, like Canada for instance or northern Russia, the temperatures can fall as low as -26 degrees C. that's a lot colder. Just be sure to dress warmly whenever you do go outside in the winter. :)

From ohio they said that this would be a normal winter with not much snow.

but forecast as not alway right. In ohio we have the lake effect. You also have problems with your location. So I don't think that they can accurtly forecast for more than a few day and then even then they are not right, just sorta

I've just come in from the outside and it's +1c here in good old Mancunia. It'll probably get colder, but not much here I reckon. I bet Blackpool's chilly though!
