There is a sign near my office that says: "Telepathy is NOT an approved means of communication".
Some people are hurt because they hear something that touches a nerve, even if was not meant to hurt. It would be difficult to be aware of this method of hurting another.
If I have a desire to hurt another, I remember that my favorite method of revenge is to win someone over so that they apologize. Doesn't always work, but it keeps me from lashing out at people. I like to keep in mind a greater prize than belittling another.

Usually aware of hurting others (of course this only relates to people I care about). After the fact. What did I say that for? What was I thinking? Why didn't I just be a little more open? A little less glib. A little more trusting.
They may be aware of hurting me, but I think many times not. Or, maybe they don't care.

Yes, I am usually aware of when I hurt others. And yes, being a member of the male species, I would say I usually conceal it when I have been hurt.

I'm very sensitive and I don't think that people know that they hurt me the way that they do. I'm usually aware of when I hurt others and I try hard not too.

Usually, I know when I've said or done something to hurt someone. I don't think anyone is aware when they hurt me or they just don't care.

Sometimes my mouth and honesty get the best of me and I hurt others without realizing it, because I think they are all as strong as me (whihc just means I am so goood at hiding my feelings), which is so not true. And since I am so good at hiding my feeling, most people do not know when they hurt my feelings, unless they truly know me.

i'm aware when i hurt people, but i would'nt hurt anyone unless i truly thought they deserved it. So i would'nt really care. I try hard to hide my feelings, but it only works with people i'm not very very comfortable with and in public, when i'm with a boy and he says something really ****** up, i'll try to hold back tears as long as i can but they'll fall down my face eventually

i really try not hurt others but it happens sometimes but there are some people that dont care if they hurt you
