Basel, Switzerland. I like Basel better, the lifestyle is very cruisy, family friendly, even the nightlife, and sometimes the whole city feels like an art exhibition that you can climb into. I have spent many an afternoon just people watching and sitting on the edge of the Tinguely fountain. It's not just my favourite european city, it's my favourite city in the whole world.
I like Stockholm very much too though, which is handy, since I live barely half an hour away.
Helsinki is also very nice to visit, it's small and compact and after half a day you feel like you know your way around.London is nice to shop in, but I doubt I could live there, too many people, too much crush. Malaga in the late summer is hard to beat. Sardines and sangria on the beach as the sun goes down.
Heh, I guess pretty much like everywhere I've ever been, for some reason or another.
