...don't really want it or understand the meaning. . To me a friendship is considerably more than acquaintance. A friend is there for you. Even when it is inconvenient. Particularly when it is inconvenient. As you are for them. I have many business "friends" and various acquaintances.
It seems that many, if not most, people misapply the word friend.
A friend is somebody that I drop anything for. If they need me, or want me, I'm there. Doesn't matter if they are next door or overseas. I'll be there.
I have a few real friends that I commit myself to. But they are true friends.
