Check your filter on your furnace. I also took a bouce sheet and put it inside of my vent and I got good smell and an extra catcher for dust! You could use Downey sheet also.

Clean the vent
Put cheese cloth over the vent-It acts like a filter
Get an air filter

if your looking for a cheap and simple solution,go to the local fabric store and buy some "cheese cloth" material,cut to cover the front opening of the heat duct/outlet,,either tape it on or use magnets,,like I said a quick fix,,best way to fix the problem is duct cleaning

You need the ductwork cleaned out by a professional. They have things to brush out and vaccum clean the inside of ducts.

get a proffesional to clean your air ducts.. .that normally takes around $500-$600.. least thats what i spent.. then check your air filters on your heater, then make sure it works.

Try replacing the filter on the heater.
