Obviously we are all immensely influenced by media ideals-do yours reflect the definition portrayed in advertisements?

sexy is not necessarily beautiful. some models have the looks to die for, but the sexual charisma of a brick wall. it's really hard to define, it shines from some people. perhaps it's the confidence in themselves that radiates out and is attractive and i don't mean narcissistic confidence that pretty people have in bucket fulls, but people who are secure in the knowledge they are whole and fully rounded people inside as well as outside.

I myself have never tried to define sexy save that I know it when I see it. Then again I believe sexy women have a clear air of maturity while being sensually suggestive in an appropriate manner, focused on the appropriate person. Hence to be sugestive can be lewd if presented to a randum viewer, or if handled in a way that projects loose morals.
As for pop media, all to often it does push the bondery concerning social moors on lewdness and that is not just some generation gap notion!

No, my idea of true sexiness isn't found in the media ideals. While those might be nice to look at sometimes, for me they are meaningless in the real world. A sexy man makes me feel good... through actions, words, the way he treats me and others. I really don't care to let the media tell me what sexy should be. Hopefully, we are all intelligent enough to decide for ourselves.

Angelina Jolie is sexy ...This lady is an enigma , she'd light your fire and accuse you of the heat....... ummmmm.!
...But sexy as portrayed in the mass media is unatainable...
I prefer a mixture of qualities and features that have stirred me now and in the past.....
all women have the potential for "sexiness"...
I am usually drawn to dark haired women..The Latina and Asian ladies are my thing....a subtle tease , intelligent , medium build , athletic but not racked ,willing to try new things .she must have integrity and a sense of herself , confidence and spirituality.....
Thats sexy to me.....looks are not all that matters....Looks fade anyway,

I've found that as I age, (38 now), I notice more than just the physical attributes in a woman. I guess I'd say that now it's a fairly even balance between looks and personality.
