The careers were in the Military, trading goods, (material, food, animals, slaves), farmers, to be a house servant was a very good position if their employer was a wealthy merchant or royalty etc., a concubine, and last but not least a teacher, professor, or a philosopher, astrologer, horse trainers, Swordsman who taught the art of defense and offense were employed as well by the government but they were privately employed to teach the children of the wealthy.
