Yes and they still judged me by what they thought was acceptable behavior. In the long run, my best friend turned out to be myself. Being popular doesn't have it rewards, especially in grade and high school, more like a beauty pageant.

Nope, I never did. I was never into that "popular" crap in school. I was who I was and if someone didn't like me, then it was their loss. And I was friends with all different kinds of people from all the different clicks.

i wouldn't say i tried to be something i wasn't,i would just say i evolved....i realised that i was shy when i was younger and i had to come out of my shell.....besides why do yous (Americans ) make a big deal out of being popular...just be yourself to hell what other people think.....Good night

no, but i changed a lot because of my problems (subconciously)and became really popular....then i went back to the normal me and im still popular!

lol..i did..when i was in grade 2, (8yrs old)
i pretended to know how to write chinese caligraphy, and all my classmates were asking me how to write thier name in chinese, so i just did some scratches on the paper, and i even saw them practicing doin it...it was really crazy....
