how to get free information on (do it yourself) rebuilding a car engine.?

Haynes or Chilotn manuals. Then off to the machine shop to practice. Its hard work, but alot of fun. Good luck.

The best thing to do is to purchase a manual for that engine. Usaully they are spread out over a few years for the car company ,priced below $20 (us). Too much free information can cause trouble!!

Your local public library will have all the information you need. All libraries i have used have a complete set of chilton books on auto repair.
