Most went on to do the stupid MTV gameshows like “The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Duel”, as if they didn’t have their real lives to get back to. I always wondered what about their jobs, career, and such. It is as if once they’re picked to be on The Real World, they’re automatically selected to be apart of this unspoken MTV “cult” and they “have” to compete in those games, with no choice of going back to their regular lives. Yes, yes, I know that not ALL of the cast members participate, but almost all of them do. It makes me upset because the people that are selected to do The Real World are kids aged 18-25, which is fine, but then if they continue on to do “The Duel”, etc. for a couple of years, then they become older, so we’re talking maybe 26-30 now. That’s when they should be working on starting their careers so that by the time they are in their late 30’s-40’s they have established what they are doing with their lives and are climbing up the ladder. I know that they are more than likely paid to play on these gameshows, but I doubt it’s hardly enough to survive in the actual real world. I like watching “The Real World” and am a big fan of it, but it makes me sad to think that they wasted their lives just to be on it. :-(

They are stuck in Real World/Road Rules challenge hell for all eternity. That contract at MTV must be harsh: "...and I do hereby pledge my soul and all usable organs to MTV for as long as I can still make an *** of myself on TV..."
Seriously, though, a few have done something in entertainment. That Debbie Mantenapolis(spelling?) does tv stuff and was on The View. Jacinda Barrett became an actress and has been in a few films. Eric from season 1 did a few dance video things. A pretentious black dude who's name I can't remember from like season 3 does music reviews.
I'm tired of typing and I'm kinda sickened by how much of this crap is in my head.

Some like Mike and Trishelle, have done other reality shows, such as Battle of the Reality Stars, and Fear Factor and the Surreal Life. Mike is also wrestling.
