I have to do a report on Bill Gates and I came across a site that said he was assassinated in 1999. Is this true?

Good heavens no; he is very much alive! I saw him on television last night, and it, I believe, was a live interview. It was a very good interview. The interviewer, (a young man) asked Bill Gates might he be president of the United States sometime in the future. Bill Gates said, No way, he would not want to do that and besides he is much better at what he does,..and that what he does is more complex, more complicated and that he is very well equipped for the job ..they had fun with the interview and laughed, and it covered a lot of ground. It was nice having a genius interviewed. It is obvious that he is a happy person, and grateful for the brain and inspiration the Creator gave him.. The last question was he was asked what he carried in his wallet, and the answer was that he seldom carries a wallet.

You need to re-read what you saw and write in if they have misinterpreted the news and write it down and send that to Bill Gates' contacts so they can have them retract that statement on the other hand if you misread, just move on and find him under www.history.com type in the search box with microsoft and you will get an eye full of knowledge or www.biography You know if it is a misprint they might reward you for finding the error.

Bill Gates is alive, Hale and healthy. He will retire from being the Executive director of Microsoft in 2007, and focus on his philanthropic pursuit.

Actually no. Believe it or not. But he did go though a heart desiease I believe. That's why he was in the hospital for at least a year.
