my friend likes this guy. BUT he cheats on her and talks about her behind her back. they broke up once and left my friend in tears but now they are back together. when they broke up, he called my friend fat and ugly. im just so so so so so so so so so so so so so scared for my friend, she is my best friend, please help me. im scared he will hurt her again!

You have to be there for your friend, but you have to stay OUT of her relationships, no matter what a dog the boyfriend is. No giving advice. Just be there to comfort her when she needs you and do not be judgmental.
No matter how hard it is NEVER get into a position where you say "I told you so" or tell her things that he says or does or that you hear from others that he did, she must see and find out these things for herself.

Maybe you should try and talk to your friend about him, and tell her you don't want her to get hurt again. Or maybe you should just let her find out for her self instead of hurting your friend- ship...

Well if you know all this tell her. I am sure you arent the only one that knows he talks about her. Sometime immature boys talk and say things they dont mean and just want to get attention.

Report him! Nobody deserves to be treated like that! Tell your friend to get therapy or something, becuase abusive relationships usually end up in death.

Just let her know everything you just told us. And be sure to include something like" and you are my best friend and I would never hurt you, so just believe me" and make sure she knows that you don't like him. B/c if she thinks that you like him, then she might think that you want to hook up wiht him.

it's hard because ppl like to belive that some one can change especially some one they like, but not every one can, you can't change your whole personality for anyone no matter how much you might want to. If he continues to be mean you have to tell her how you feel, it would be lieing to her if you kept it hidden.
She deserves some one better and he deserves himself=)
