I know parents can be biased on race and social class. But if you take a normal couple do you think your mom or sister for example really know who are best for you. and can they tell who is good and not good for you. cause sometimes in love we can be blind.

YES!! If you have a good relationship with your family, and you know they want hat's best for you, they will know in an instant what guy is good for you. Family has an unobstructed view of your relationship and can be far better judges of character than ourselves!

Parents and family love u. They do not have the blinders of love over their eyes. If they really believe that someone is not right for u, I would very definitely listen to them. If they say that they think the person is violent, will not ever work and help support you and your children or cannot keep his fly zipped, believe they know what they are talking about. Now if they say he will never be anything but a school teacher and will not ever be able to afford million dollar home, you have to decide if you want a school teacher or a million dollar home.

No one should judge another person but it happens.Your parents and sisters are doing what they think is best so you want get hurt or have to deal with things they had to with the same type of guy.

well i think that since they've lived longer then you that they would know more about love then you. but if you feel that the guy you wanna be with is REALLY the one you should tell them and see what they say they think. they'll understand if you tell them that you REALLY like this guy and that you wanna be with him.!!
