How long should i wait b4 taking pregancy test?

me and my boyfriend had sex a week ago we use protection the first time but we did it again 4 more times. i also jus came off my period. i dont kno if i should take a test my bf said i should. wat 2 do

Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex a month ago and I kind of figured I would end up pregnant which now I am. I just found out today and we are very excited. I took a test last saturday and it came out negative but I have been having symptoms and I have not got my period yet so taking the test to early is not a good idea. Like everyone else said wait till your period is due and take it then if you miss it. For a "more sure" result you should wait at least 2 weeks after your "missed" period, or 6 weeks after your last known period. If still negative take once a week, using moring urine for 3 additional weeks. If you still do not see a positive or a period, then see a doctor. They will be able to confirm pregnancy status using a blood test. Good luck!

there's no point in taking one before your next period for two reasons, first if your not pregnant you will start your period, saves you money for pregnancy test, second, if you do the test now it can give you false negative and if you miss your period you're gonna want to repeat the test so what's the point of doing it before.
Also if you're planing on having abortion it's too early to do one so it really doesn't matter.

I would recommend that you test within 4-7 days with a HPT or see your physician for a blood test that can detect even trace amounts of the HCG hormone within 7-12 days from possible conception.

9 months. lol. jk. if you keep track of your period on your calendar or in your phone calendar then look on that and see when you are supposed to get your period and if you don't get it for a month then take the pregnancy test. but after having sex wait a week and then test. then test again after your missed period.

Hcg will show up in the blood stream by the 72hour mark. Hcg will show up in urine by about 7 days with accuracy. Check the expiration date on your urine test to make sure it's not outdated. Been there.
