"What is the meaning of life?"
Since I've been seeing it every day since I joined Y!A, I've probably seen it 80 times.
Does anyone bother to answer it?

Yeah, that question is a daily favorite around here and no, I've never answered it, as I consider it almost to be a rhetorical question, i.e. one that requires no answer, since I figure the asker cannot possibly be serious and expect a good answer. Lost of dim kids on this site like to goof off when they're supposed to be doing their homework. They're the ones who are going to be saying: "Would you like fries with that?" in about 5 years.
Other questions you will see daily, and will not bother answering: "Why were there no dinosaurs in the Bible?"

"Do You believe in God?"
"Why are muslims so stupid?"
Why can't I stop cutting myself?
"Am I depressed?"
"Bush worst ever prez?"

THANK YOU!!!!

It certainly is asked far more than should be, no matter that the audience is Millions in number.

To ask, suggests that the asker may be any of these. A cave dweller, totally uninvolved in A LIFE, totally unaware on most levels, one without direction, purpose, reason, Seeking attention,,, desperately,

Yes I have bothered to answer more than once,,,sigh,,, but am instantly reminded that anyone here could go to the window for searching Q's and A's and pull up hundreds of this topic, without asking, and embarrasing, and maybe get an answer that suits them?

My usual answer,,,and belief is,,,"What works for one,,, may not, for another." AND in that alone is the answer, that NO ONE HERE can possibly answer but for themselves.

Again,,, Thanks for this,,, I do suggest, and should do this myself,,,go to the forums,,,especially to relate subjects that seem so inane, and asked so often, when introspection would help, and the WWW,,,Browser,,,Keywords,,, would be as valid a place to gain answers.

Too many times and I personally am sick of it, its like every day every hour on the hour, some idiot asking "What is the meaning of life?" seriously, is this what people think philosophy is all about the single question of "What is the meaning of life?" and just pondering it without putting it into any context and asking it repeatedly...
I mean if your stupid enough to think that we have the answer to the question, you don't even deserve to have it answered.

I believe life is meant for each of us to have actual physical experiences to realize in human form " Who We Really Are and What We Choose to be in Relation to that." On a more personal note, My motto about The Purpose of life is: "To Be The Greatest Version Of The Grandest Vision I ever had about my self, and to share by my example by always chosing the highest thought, LOVE. It is always the wise one who choses the same EVERY TIME. LOVE LOVE LOVE
