my playstation been acting up, i'll put in game and it'll just read the disk and nothing else would happen. it'll be reading the disk for like 30 mins. i took the game apart and cleaned the disk but that didn't work it's still doing the same thing do any one have any advice on what to do

that happened to me. you have to use compressed air and spray it in the disk drive.

If a specific game does it, and others don't, you may need to turn the PS2 onto its side so that it's vertical. I can't figure out why this works, but it's the only way the original Lego Star Wars would work for me and many other people. It might work for whatever you're trying to play. Best of luck.

The disk is probably scratched up.

mine messed up once and i sent it in and got repaired for almost nothing.
