For some reason whenever I get drunk I hug my guy friends rather than shake their hands is that okay?

It's OK to hug your guy friends whether your drunk or not. Your inner loving self has been squashed by the macho thinking in society that says guys are not suppose to show emotion. Your inhibitions come down when you are drunk and you have the chance to express your true self; a loving and demonstrative guy. It doesn't mean you are gay, unless you want it to.

that is ok dude you are not gay.....except if you are and you are denying like being gay is something wrong. First if you thing gay is something wrong let me tell you is not. After all this earh will die in milions of years from now it doesnt matter any way. if you are ok that being gay is cool and there is no problem with it then the next step is to imagine yourself sucking dik. do you think you will like it? if yes then next step is to get on the internet and start having fun. if you don't like the idea you are not gay. well let break that down into two parts, nr. 1 that would be better for one thing that you're all drinking and always having to go to the bathroom where after all that beer most guys probably are not washing their hand so it would be better if not cleaner. nr. 2 would be that you're feel closer to them and you let your inhibitations down more, but doesn't have to mean anything more then just a friendly hug to say hey buddy good to see you made it over, or to say hey have a safe ride home

I hug other men when I'm sober, if I like them. (But I am gay.) I think most people, gay or straight, can tell the difference between a friendly hug and a come-on.

There should be more hugs amongst us all, and for me it takes a drink or two to do it also ! Other countries great that way ! We need hugs, its proven ! I don't think it makes you gay unless you are having more than hugging feelings !

In societys eyes people are so quick to label a man gay for his display of affection even if it's simple and harmless, I don't see anything wrong with it, but why would you ask if you're gay? Not Gay, but does depend on why your hugging. If your hugging because he's your Bud- thats cool. if you're hugging because you like his shoes, you might think about buying a sweater vest and drinking foo foo drinks.

i hug everyone when im drunk. often, alcohol makes people very 'lovey.'
to know if you're gay or not, imagine or even try hugging them when you're sober, and see if that brings up any emotions for you.
