I'm in Oklahoma and will be going out to see them. The key is, will the constellation Leo be visible at 10:45? If it is then we'll get to see the peak (about 2 per minute according to some articles)! If it's not up in time, we should still get a show.

The earth is being bombarded by material continuously, 24/7/365. On any given night, you should be able to observe some of this material enter the earth's atmosphere.
