You should have downloaded and installed both Opera, and Firefox, so you would have virus free browsers.

Internet Exploder has permissions to open and change the system core files, which is actually a 'no-no' in the programming world, but is 'Standard Operating Procedure' at Microsoft!

So, many of us run the virus free Browsers, and, even have followed the lead of Microsoft, in running all our computers with Linux or one of the other 811 FREE and virus proof Operating Systems.

Microsoft.com, Hotmail.com, MSN.com, Redmond Campus routers, firewalls, the Linux Lab 400systems, and the development centre, all run on more than 45,000 Linux computers.

Linux is FREE, and even runs in the CDrom! http://pclinuxos.com and http://livecdlist.com or http://distrowatch.com

Also, mailed out FREE from http://ubuntu.org who even pays your postage!!!

Do you go on the internet
if so then do you have latest antivrus installed
is you computer running the latest microsoft patches.

when it restarts press f8 and see if you can start the computer in safe mode.

if all fails then you may have to repair or reinstall the os

also try running last good known to see if you can bring the system back.

i suspect may be infected by virus.

look in the event viewer for any erros relating to hardware or software. all the logs are their you may be able to indentify the source of the problem

did you install any new hardware and or software try uninstalling them.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
