My laptop shut off by it self . Screen just went black, I turned it back on, then all these windows started opening up., each time I moved my mouse another program would open up it was so wild, so I shut down then rebooted, now my clock in the lower rt corner is gone. How do I get it back on

Try using the "search "in your start menu I dont know much about computers ,but that helps me alot!! Good luck..

Hello. It sounds like there might be some bigger problems going on with all those windows popping up but hopefully that was just a one time thing. Now about your clock. Rght click on your taskbar at the very bottom of your screen or at the top. I have mine at the top. It may be be silver looking or bluish color. Right click it and go down to properties. When the box comes up make sure there is a check mark where it says Show the clock. I would also run a good antivirus program to make sure you don't have a virus.

Have you installed IE 7 recently? That's been one causes of the multiple windows issue.

To get your clock back, though, click on Control Panel and then 'Taskbar and Start Menu' and in the Notification area, ensure that "Show the Clock" is enabled.

Right click on the bottom bar click on property, a menu will open put check on show clock click apply.

When you right click the start button there's a place that says "Show Clock".

assuming you are using windows xp. right click on the task bar (in an open spot) and click properties. then check the box to have the clock

you need to concider reinstalling windows.
