I had exactly the same thing with my 2nd child. It was after an examination I thought I was in trouble - seriously - but apparently, because everything down there is so compressed. Minor blood vessels can burst from time to time. Get yourself checked out at the A&E if you're worried though. Good Luck Babe x x

She should call her doctor and go to the hospital immediately. Heavy bleeding is not normal at nine months. It is an emergency.

Go to the hospital. I dont konw if that would be normal or not, but I have been pregnant 3 times and never bled that much. Go to be safe.

Has she recently had an exam? That might cause some blood to come..but, for something like this..it is better being on the safe side..take her to Dr asap

She needs to get the nearest ER right away, or call 911! This could seriously be a Placental Abruption that could kill her and or the baby.

Ditto on the suggestion that you turn off your computer and go to the ER -- NOW. Call her doc on your cell phone as you head in to be checked out.

HOSPITAL!!! she's more than likely going into labor!!!!! or something else is wrong... get off your butt and get her to the hospital (or where ever it may be that she will be giving birth)... at least give them a call and they will tell you what you need to do!

sounds like your starting the labor process. call your doctor he'll probably want to see you and get you checked. if it is labor, one word for you! epidural!!!! they are great!
