I had a strange pregnancy with my 4th and last. First I got pregnant after I had been on The Pill for 11 years. My other children were 18, 15, and 12 when she was born. I, too, continued to have a period because I did not know I was pregnant until I was 17 weeks along so I continued to take my Pill every day as usual. I never experienced any nausea, vomiting, or queasiness throughout the entire pregnancy although with my other 3 I had. Whenever I ate anything my stomach would hurt. I survived on toast and vegetable soup for most of the weeks up until I found out I was pregnant. Because of my odd diet, I was losing weight. My doctor thought I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome. When I went in for my yearly physical and Pap smear she seemed quite concerned that my cervix was presenting like I was pregnant. Neither of us believed that could be, but I had to pee in a cup because they had to rule that out first. Both of us were quite shocked when the pregnancy test came back positive. She listened for a heart beat and we heard it clear as a bell then she sent me for an ultrasound to see how far along I was. I developed Gestational Diabetes and wasn't eating much so I continued to lose weight. When the baby was full-term, I weighed 25 pounds less than I did before I got pregnant. I wore my regular clothes all throughout the pregnancy and most people didn't know I was pregnant even though we live in a pretty small town (population about 4500). I have done daycare in my home for years and most people thought that my daughter was just one of my daycare children whenever we went anywhere. Or, because my oldest daughter was 18 when our youngest was born and they are spitting images of each other, a lot of people thought the baby was hers and I was the grandma. My kids are now 27, 25, 22, and 9 and our oldest is having a baby of her own in April so we'll be grandparents for the first time. My daughter is 18 weeks now and her stomach began to get harder about 3 weeks ago. You can lie on your stomach as long as it is comfortable for you. Your baby is very well cushioned and it will not harm him/her. Your body is going through lots of changes and your hormones will make odd things happen like the pain in your nipples and the sensitivity in your clitoris. All perfectly normal but be sure to mention them to your doctor at your next appointment.

I had a period the first month. My nipples hurt for awhile then it became my whole breast. It got to the point where I would cover them in the shower. I had a queasy stomach with no vomiting which is very irritating. You get to the point where you want to throw up. You will know when you can't lie on your tummy anymore. I am 24 weeks and I do. With my daughter I knew when she started to squirm when I did it. Plus it was uncomfortable like lying on a little ball or something.

That all sounds very normal, and yes you can sleep on your stomach until you dont feel comfortable about it anymore. I did until I was around 4 months. As for the bigger stomach at night, its because you have gone through the day and are probably bloated and when you wake up in the morning you arent. That happens to me alot. I looked very pregnant through out the day, but in the morning its a little different. Im not bloated until I eat once again.....The doctor can probably explain the "period" to you. I have read about that , but its normal for some women to experience that.

At 11 weeks the majority of these 'symptoms' are all in our imagination. Unless you are having twins or you are much further along than you think you are.
The queasiness is the ONLY thing that is real and natural & normal at this point.
