im not allowed to use mirrors since the incident

Actually I don't. Why would I do that? Sure I look at me but I've never posed in front of the mirror like a runway model before. NEVER.

Frequently. I have to ensure that I do not become an object of suppressed smiles among students in the class I am teaching. Also to work out the pose I should adopt during the lecture at various stages of the lecture,especially when it deals with some sentimental matter.This is a professionl necessity and no Narcissism

I'm with mickey14 on this one... just try to figure out how other people see me - I am always surprised at who I see looking back at me. If I have time, I'll practice saying phrases that I say quite often, to see how my mouth moves (you know, we all watch the news anchors' mouths)... I then practice sexy looks, then give up - that's when I generally walk away... but not before trying to accept myself, for who I am (though I usually forget right away - hence, the surprise each time... ) :D
