Oh, what a great idea, especially for those who love candles and for those who cannot remember to blow them out. Just plug in and enjoy the scent without the flame. I love the idea. I love new and different things anyway.

Hello. My anser to this question is...
If the person has everything, give them something they don't have. ( sounds weird right?? )
Here is what I mean.
Find a "one of a kind store" and purchase an item from there. OR... Make something yourself... not only will she not have it, it will also give a bit more meaning being made and not bought.
The candle you picked so far is great. I have never seen anything like it before... and if she has candles already. i'm sure they aren't electric *wink*
Take Care

They look very nice. But perhaps a little seasonal?
If your MIL is hard to buy for, try handcrafting something for her. A boxed tin of home-made shortbread is a wonderful gift. Or is she on a diet? How about tickets to an event, for just the two of you?
People who are hard to buy for because they have mountains of STUFF don't usually appreciate additional stuff, but they do love something that is personal, and that only you can give - like your time and your thoughtfulness in taking her somewhere.

I think it's safer than a traditional candle and all she has to do is plug it in. They look attractive. Sounds like a nice gift idea.

Nice candle. I wouldn't mind getting one for Xmas.:-)
If she has everything, you might consider getting her something nice, but disposable. A great gourmet cheesecake, teas or coffees, some sort of expensive bath soaps would be nice, and a bit more "personal" maybe than my other suggestions.
In any event, you seem like a thoughtful sort. Good luck!

im sure she'd love them, they're beautiful.. but she might appreciate something that maybe you made yourself a little more? just a thought, maybe you could sew her a comfy blanket that she could sit in front of the fire with on those cold winter days, or something like that. if not, im sure the candles will be great. happy holidays!!
