Never.But I rather suggest than tell to avoid embaressment to the object. I have also been told so many times. I studiously avoid laughing at them in grateful acknowledement of someone who pointed out my lapse just before I was going in for an important interview.

showing. He told me he had gone
through several meetings all
day and no one had the balls
to tell him..What are friendly friends for?
If not to tell, whether friends, acquaintances,
or total strangers..What is America
coming to if no one tells you gently
that your tag is showing?

I do it to my husband occasionally, grown people should know how to dress themselves and check for loose strings, twisted bra straps, unzipped, unbuttoned and unfastened clothing and tags that show. It's funny to be sitting or standing behind someone with one of these things wrong with their clothes. Or my favorite, the long sticker strip still on the clothes with the size printed on it.

No cause its kinda irratating to me unless I dont like you than yeah I let you walk with it out I even tell strangers that their tag is out cause i'm just that nice

No, until recently I would always let them know that their shirt was on inside out until this one person told me that was how its suppose to look and to mind my business. Never again.

Yes, when my grandson was learning to dress himself, on occasion he had has shirt turned wrong side out, and I didn't choose to correct him.
