Only sit ups will not help. I tried that for years without results. You need to do the following:
1) Fat Burner supplement. Try a good Fat burner but make sure that you choose wisely and don't exceed the recommended dossis. (This is not for you if you are under 18). Take it early in the morning on empty stomach before cardio session.
2) Cardio. Do cardio on an empty stomach early in the morning at least 5 days per week
3) Never leave home without breakfast. After your cardio and every morning take a good breakfast shake, I make mine with 2 egg whites, a banana, soy milk powder, protein powder and ground flax seed. I also cook some plain oatmeat and add it to make it thicker.
4) Increase your over all muscle mass. 3 heavy workouts per week with weights. Muscle burns more fat.
5) Last and most inportant: Control your diet. No sugars, No food after dark, no pop no deep fired food and lower carbohydrates. Plan snacks during the day. If you starve your boddy, it will continue to store the fat to use it when needed. 5 small meals is the best
It is not an easy way to get the six pack and I said before just sit ups will not work.

Very simple. Concentrate more on ab crunches where you can gradually raise the weight on the machine as opposed to having to do a gazillion sit-ups everyday. Also, you need to be sure to get some good cardio work in to lose the excess flab that can obscure the muscle. An elliptical trainer should do the trick!

These were terrible answers. The situps are just defining your muscles. Its possible you have a small layer of fat over this muscle. You should do more cardio. Also you shouldn't work out an hour before you go to bed. Because of all the sit ups you do, as soon as that layer of fat is gone, you should have a sixpack in no time. I still need to get rid of this belly. HA HA!

Dude i got a sixpack by going to the gym for an hour everyday. I don't think doing sit ups only is going to help you. Oh and cut down on the fatty foods like McDonald's. Good Luck.
I'm only 114 pounds at 15yrs.

Unfortunately, it takes a looong time to get a six pack. Doing just sit-ups won't do it. You'll have to mix it up with a different variety of ab exercises. There are several you can do. Just check online.

this is how: walk into the store, go straight to the back.. grab a six pack of your choice, turn around walk back up to the counter like your gonna pay for it and after the guy rings ya up and the register opens.. well that's your cue to kick up your heels and say WAAAHHHOOOOO!!! then run like hell outta there with your six pack in tow! ;)

You arnt doing enough. Do more sit ups and crunches. They should hurt EVERY night. You also have to do cardio. You have to burn all the fat that is on top of the stomach muscles. You will see the difference soon enough.
