Don't hold back. I know there's a bunch of you out there that went through the training and schooling in order to become forensic investigators, only to be dumbfounded when you realized the real life CSI's are stuck in a lab somewhere and don't get to do actual detective type work.

some do get to do work in the field, because I was going to school to be the type that works in the lab and there was a choice between training for ones that stay in the lab and ones who work on crime scenes

I'm sorry. I have not taken those steps, I have not even considered takeing those steps. I rarely see CSI. I think it's one of those shows where everyone else watching is confused out of their minds while I had the soluation in the first ten minutes.

So I'm a " No, I have not" person.
