Make sure the tag actually says "Louis Vuitton" and it isnt spelled wrong. If it's a multicolor and it isnt the Murikami line, it shouldnt have a bow (i learned that the hard way). All of the stitching should be perfect and even. None of the LV's should be cut off on the side at all. Also, I think they arent supposed to have any red on them, even though they do on the website (thats supposed to throw off people who make fakes). Go to this guide http://reviews.ebay.com/How-to-SPOT-fake-LV-LOUIS-VUITTON-authentic-guide-2_W0QQugidZ10000000000021466 and the other ones that person has she has a lot of good details for spotting fakes. Hope this helps!!

Well, you can definitely tell the difference between 2 coach bags simply because the leather is rougher on a fake, and just looks fake.
For Prada..It's very easily actually!! If you have ever watch those people that sell you the fake bags, they have a huge stash of Prada labels in their pockets, with 2 little pointy things on the back. Then, they insert it into the little triangle where 'Prada' is supposed to be and push back the prongs. You can actually feel them on the inside.
And Kate Spade.. you can peel back the sticker that says "Kate Spade"
I don't know about LV, though sorry! But yeah those people at school are just jealous. It doesn't matter, because you will get the same joy out of that bag than any other million dollar bag.

Bring it to the Louis Vutton store and they can tell if your purse is fake.

It's very difficult to see the difference if you wear real Prada bag or fake. The quality of material is easy to copy.
Now you can buy really good copy of any brand.
But if you look inside. You can see the difference. Stiches and leather.
Just don't worry. If they think it's fake it's their problem. Not yours. You know it's real! Most important!

The next time one of them says "Your purse is a fake!", grab them by the hair, pull them close to you, and scratch out one of their eyes. When they return to school with a glass eye, simply respond with "And now your eye is a fake also."

1 - check if there is a serial number on it
2 - check if the spelling of the company is correct
3 - check if the name of the company is engraved into the purse

unless they made it or was there when they were produced, they do not know. as long as you know it is real, what does anyone else's opinion matter? obviously they have nothing better to do than try to figure out what is name brand and what is not. tell then to get a "real" life!!!!!lol
