She doesn't have to answer it; I can answer it for her. The Kennedy's are Catholics. Catholics believe that the purpose of intimacy within a marriage is to produce offspring and to bond the marriage. Common forms of birth control are viewed as an attempt to hinder the will of God regarding the birth of children. Also, most forms of birth control actually do not prevent a woman from conceiving, but prevent the baby from thriving, resulting in an aborted baby. Therefore, with respect for life and the creation of God, Catholics practice Natural Family Planning when they choose to keep their family size smaller.

So having children is related to their adherence to the teachings of their faith, their love for one another, and their ability to raise children well.

Peace be with you!

Cause they didn't have any birth control or they just loved one another so much that is why they had that many. I would say it was his ideal to have that many.

I would like to know the reason behide my papa and mama having 21 kids together. Who knows why they wanted that many.
