But is there any way to stretch jean legs out? Length-wise?
I bought some jeans today from American Eagle, and they're just a little too short in the legs. Any suggestions?

No, I don’t think you can actually stretch out jeans to make it longer, unless you want to ruin them. You can always make it shorter by cutting & hemming, but not longer. But next time, why don’t you buy jeans sized “long”?? That way, it will be longer than regular and then you have the option of cutting & hemming it if it is way too long for your liking. They usually make jeans in all size numbers in short, regular, or long too. Hope this helps!

Well I'm not so sure my answer won't seem dumb also, but you might try a shoe repair shop that stretches shoes. No kidding. They might have an instrument that will pull on the jeans and strech them. It's a thought at least. good luck.

I am a seamstress and I have never heard of any way to stretch jean legs, if you like lace, you might sew a band of lace around the bottom of each leg to lenghten them.
with the way the jeans of today are all jazzed up, you could add any piece of material to lengthen them, and add some fancy rick rack around the seam lines..

Just take them back to the store and exchange them for the right length, CAUSE YOU CANNOT STRETCH JEANS OUT LENGTH WISE,IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!

You could try pulling on the legs after you take them out of the wash before laying them flat to dry.

How much hem is there? You may be able to take the hem out and re hem at a longer length.

Or take em back and get ones that fit.
